International AyurVeda Congress
In the Spring of 2015, the International AyurVeda Congress brought together, for the first time, many of the world’s leading practitioners and scientists in the field of AyurVeda. Two days of inspiring presentations illuminating the time-tested knowledge of this natural, prevention-oriented and holistic healthcare system of ancient India were held in Roermond, The Netherlands.
Over 500 delegates from 49 countries, including leading physicians, researchers and scholars attended the conference to exchange research findings, case studies, and an indepth analysis of natural health care. A three-member delegation from the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. AYUSH Ministry was represented by the Joint-Secretary Mr. Anurag Srivastav; the Advisor to the Ministry, Dr. Manoj Nesar; and the Research Officer, Dr. T. Saketh Ram.

The International AyurVeda Congress offers a platform for research scholars to present their findings in various fields of AyurVeda. The latest innovative and pioneering work will be showcased in this congress. Ayurvedic principles and practices are Natural Law-based, scientific and life-supporting; the research in AyurVeda and its application is aimed at long-lasting and far-reaching health care benefits for humanity.

This congress will illuminate the time-tested knowledge of AyurVeda with up-to-date insights from modern science. Breakthrough research uncovering the intimate link between consciousness and physiology will be presented— locating the inner healing intelligence of the human physiology. Leading Ayurvedic practitioners and researchers from around the world will come together to showcase scientifically verified solutions to today’s problems in the fields of individual and public health. Vaidyas and health professionals engaged in Ayurvedic research will present their findings.
All health professionals wishing to expand the scope and effectiveness of their medical practice are invited to attend. In addition, policymakers and administrators in the field of health are invited to join the congress to gain insights to improve health care and reduce costs.
